William Charles Leach, MD  Dr. William Leach received his B.S. magna cum laude in Chemistry in 1973 and his Doctorate of Medicine in 1977 both from the University of Florida. He completed the specialty residency of Family Practice in 1980 at the University of Maine.
Dr. Leach served as a Lt. Commander in the U.S. Public Health Service for five years in Alaska where he practiced bush medicine in the Yukon and received the Distinguished Presidential Special Services Award. He subsequently practiced for 20 years in Florida where he built a technologically-advanced, comprehensive, preventive-medicine practice. He is highly trained in geriatrics in which he spent the greatest majority of his time and effort in preventing and treating the most complicated illnesses of the elderly.
Dr. Leach has acted as an expert witness. As an in-house physician at Buckley & Fudge, P.A., Dr. Leach prepares causation analysis reports which set forth legal defenses developed from Dr. Leach’s extensive geriatric medical background. Dr. Leach also assists the attorneys in preparing for depositions of expert physicians and nurses, and his attendance during expert depositions has proved to be a real asset to the defense of the firm’s long-term care lawsuits.
He has been a member of the American Medical Association, Florida Medical Association, and American Academy of Family Practice and American College of Advancement in Medicine. |
